2022年10月18日，美国国际贸易委员会（ITC）投票决定对特定智能恒温器集线器及其下游系统和组件（Certain Smart Thermostat Hubs, Systems Containing the Same, and Components of the Same）启动337调查（调查编码：337-TA-1339）。

2022年9月16日，美国EDST, LLC of Lubbock, Texas、美国Quext IoT, LLC of Lubbock, Texas向美国ITC提出337立案调查申请，主张对美出口、在美进口和在美销售的该产品侵犯了其知识产权（美国注册专利号10,825,273、10,803,685、11,189,118），请求美国ITC发布有限排除令、禁止令。

美国iApartments, Inc. of Tampa, FL、中国台湾地区Hsun Weath Technology Co., Ltd. of Taoyuan City, Taiwan、中国台湾地区Huarifu Technology Co., Ltd. of Taoyuan City, Taiwan为列名被告。
