2020年10月15日，美国国际贸易委员会（ITC）发布公告称，对特定可旋转3D激光雷达（Rotating 3-D LiDAR Devices and Products Containingthe Same (Including Autonomous Vehicles, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, IndustrialMachines, and Robotics), and Components Thereof，调查编码：337-TA-1173）作出337调查部分终裁：对本案行政法官于2020年10月1日作出的初裁（Order No.48）不予复审，即基于和解，终止对涉案企业中国广东Suteng Innovation Technology Co., Ltd (a.k.aRoboSense), China深圳市速腾聚创科技有限公司的调查；并且终止本案调查。此前2020年7月13日，已经基于和解终止对中国上海Hesai Photonics Technology Co., Ltd, China禾赛光电科技有限公司的调查。

2019年9月11日，美国国际贸易委员会（ITC）投票决定对特定可旋转3D激光雷达（Rotating 3-D LiDAR Devices and Products Containingthe Same (Including Autonomous Vehicles, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, IndustrialMachines, and Robotics), and Components Thereof）启动337调查（调查编码：337-TA-1173）。

2019年8月15日，美国Velodyne Lidar, Inc. of San Jose, California向美国ITC提出337立案调查申请，主张对美出口、在美进口和在美销售的该产品侵犯了其专利权（美国注册专利号7969558），请求美国ITC发布有限排除令、禁止令。

中国上海Hesai Photonics Technology Co., Ltd, China禾赛光电科技有限公司、中国广东Suteng Innovation Technology Co., Ltd (a.k.a RoboSense), China深圳市速腾聚创科技有限公司为列名被告。
